Upgrading SPS on CoreWeave

Upgrading SPS will briefly take your applications offline

Upgrade Steps

  1. Login to CoreWeave;
  2. Open Applications menu and click on the installed Scalable Pixel Streaming application;
  3. You will see an update notification on the left, click the Update Now link;
  4. Make sure the value of the Upgrade to Version dropdown is set to the latest version;
  5. Make any changes to the installed values if required;
  6. At the bottom of the page click the Deploy button.

Once completed, the SPS installation will be upgraded to the latest version. Note that all SPS applications will be unavailable for a short time while the upgrade process migrates data and brings the SPS framework back online.

Note that a backup of your current installation is saved when upgrading to the newest version, so you can always roll back if you experience any issues.

Removing the installation

To remove the Scalable Pixel Streaming installation from your CoreWeave account, perform the following steps:

  1. Remove all Pixel Streaming application deployments in the Scalable Pixel Streaming installation by deleting them manually via the dashboard or running the following command in the CLI tool::

    sps-client application delete --delete-all

  2. Navigate to the “Applications” tab of Kubeapps and click the Scalable Pixel Streaming entry.
